However, she didn't achieve much success from the start and was faced with a variety of difficulties before gaining her first big break. A lot of her tracks were deleted before she was hired by 'Capitol records. The album she released as her second album, 'One for the Boys' came out to be a huge hit and marked a pivotal moment for her music career. She was then launched as a vocalist and never looked back after. Her second album, "Teenage Dreams The Dreams of Teenage Dreams' captured the attention of the masses of music lovers, and quickly became one of the best-selling albums ever. Katy Perry was firmly established as a performer thanks to the record-breaking album. Apart from writing and recording songs, Perry is also known for her charitable work. Additionally, she is an activist, who is a proponent of the rights of gays.
