Mischa Barton, born in Hammersmith England United Kingdom on 24th January 1986 is one of the most renowned and successful TV actresses. The O.C. she played Marissa Cooper a socialite. She appeared also in The Sixth Sense, a suspense film. She was also in the suspense movie called The Sixth Sensation. The O.C. was one of the most watched television shows. The O.C. was a big hit TV show that she appeared with. Benjamin McKenzie was her love interest. Ben McKenzie who played her interest. Barton first made an appearance on TV in 1994 as a young Corvina Lang in flashbacks in the soap-opera All My Children. In 1996, she was replaced by Michelle Trachtenberg's part as Lily Benton Montgomery. Katie Singer, Evan Rachel Wood's girlfriend of Jessie Sammler (the series Once and Again) was a was a guest on 8 episodes. In 2001, she was back on film, and was a part of the indie Canadian comedy Lost and Delirious based on the novel The Wives of Bath by Susan Swan. She has also continued to give back to dozens of charitable causes in her homeland of Romania which includes Romania's Nadia Comaneci Children's Hospital in Bucharest.
